Setting up Virtual Box for installtion of Puppy Linux
This step will prep up the VirtualBox for setting up a new operating system. This step is required for setting up a new Guest OS on a virtual machine and involves setting up, RAM, Harddisk space on Host OS, etc.
- Start New Virtual Machine Wizard

- New Virtual Machine Wizard

- Details of new Guest OS about to be setup

- Setup how much RAM would you like to allocate to Puppy Linux Virtual Machine

- Setup Virtual Harddisk (None present right now) – So lets create new Virtual Hard Drive.

- New Virtual Hard Drive Wizard

- Select the type of Virtual Hard Drive. The dynamically expandable drive is better since it would not eat up all your harddrive space.

- Name of the Virtual Hard Drive file and Max Size for that Virtual Hard Drive

- Back to selection of Virtual Hard Drive for the Puppy Linux Virtual Machine. This time, since we have created a new Virtual Hard Drive, it would be available in the dropdown. Select the same if now preselected.

- New Virtual Machine Setup Summary

- Puppy Linux Virtual Machine Setup Complete

- Setting up a Virtual CD ROM, to boot up the installer of Puppy Linux

- Choose the installtion ISO file that we downloed in prior steps

- Verify the CD ROM setup

- Puppy Linux is ready for installation!
